Event Reminder

1. Date of the event: 24th March 2013 (Sun)

2. Application Deadline: 16th March 2013 mid-night (Online application is available, please download the application form or online application.)

3. Payment deadline: 19th March 2013 (Tue). Please settle the minimum donation on or before the deadline or the application will deem to be cancelled.

4. Please fax or email the bank in slip or online transfer confirmation page to us with school / company / organization name, name of contact person and contact number. Confirmation will be sent within 2 working days.

5. Schools, companies and organizations can also apply by sending us a cheque or bank in slip with application form via postal mail.

6. Applicants can also send us the application form for our arrangement first, after confirmation we will issue a “sponsorship form” to participants for fund raising. Participants should pay the minimum donation to Green Sense on or before 19th March 2013 (Tue).

7. Certificates and donation receipts will be issued on event day. Except for individuals, all certificates of participation will be issued in the name of teams, schools, companies or organizations.

8. For cheque payment, please mail the cheque payable to “Green Sense HK Limited” with the application form or the name of applicant and contact number at the back, to PO Box 454, Tsuen Wan Post Office.

9. For bank transfer, please deposit in the following bank accounts:

11. All participants must read our memo and disclaimer for Green Sense Walkathon 2013 and fully understand the arrangement, important notice and his/her own responsibility.


Event Arrangement

1. Unless the typhoon signal no. 3 or above or red / black rainstorm warning signal is still hoisted at 8:00am on the event day, the event will be held as scheduled. If the weather is undesired, participants, parents or guardians can decide to participate or not at their discretion.

2. Donations will not be refunded or returned if the participant cannot attend the event.

3. Participants should prepare enough water and food if necessary. Using reusable water bottles and utensils are suggested, to avoid and reduce the disposal of waste in the walk. Please beware and take away all the belongings including the litter. Littering is prohibited.

4. Participants are suggested to wear sportswear and sneakers.

5. Participants are suggested to bring along towel or handkerchief.

6. Please prepare your own rain gear and/or sun block if necessary in avoiding or minimizing the use of paper tissue.

7. Free shuttle to the starting point is arranged for participant who arrives at the assembly point at 9 to 9:30am. The last shuttle will be departed at 9:30am.

8. For those who are unable to arrive at 9:30am at the assembly point, participants should go to the starting point by themselves. There is mini-bus #52B to Hok Tau at Fanling Station.

9. Participants must manage their pet(s) at all times. All dog(s) should be leashed at all times. For any dog weighs over 20kg, the leash must not be longer than 1.5m.
